FreeSat HD

FreeSatHD is a joint venture between the BBC and ITV. The FreeSatHD service provides a large number of digital TV and Radio channels that can be received free of charge, as there are no setup or monthly subscription charges.

FreeSatHD is one of the leading providers of free digital TV programs in the UK with over 140 TV, Radio and Interactive channels, with many hours of HD content, all totally free of charge.

FreeSatHD gives you up to five times more picture detail than the standard TV picture, meaning deeper, richer, more lifelike pictures, plus with stunning surround sound it puts you at the centre of the action.

FreeSatHD channels are automatically updated when any new Radio, TV,
or Interactive channels, and services, become available.

In order to receive FreeSatHD programs you will need a FreeSatHD receiver and a HD ready TV, or a TV with FreeSatHD built, and a dish to receive the FreeSatHD signal.

Also available is FreeSatHD digital TV recorder, also know as FreeSatPlus (FreeSat+), which gives you all the benefits of the FreeSatHD service,
plus the ability to record, playback, pause and rewind live TV.

FreeSatHD boxes and TV's with built in FreeSatHD are available at retail stores, specialist providers, and through online suppliers.

Your FreeSatHD receiver supplier will also arrange to install a dish for you.
If you have a Sky dish this can be used to receive the FreeSatHD signal.

So you get even better viewing at no extra cost, all you need is an HD Ready TV connected to a FreeSatHD digital box, or a TV with FreeSatHD built in.
